Requesting Interpreters for Denver Comic Con 2016

  • May 25, 2016

We are so excited that Denver Comic Con is fast approaching! Rose has provided intepreting services for the con for the last four years and we’re proud of that; every year the con is more fun, more exciting, more educational, and more… whoah!

This video will explain how to make your interpreting requests for Denver Comic Con through their website.

Bear in mind that the schedule won’t be available until 3-5 days before the con, and making your requests online beforehand is the best way to ensure that you will have interpreting for the events that you want to attend. You can make requests in person at the con (interpreters may not be available), at the ADA booth. We’ll have a Rose Staff member there to take your requests and book your interpreter(s). We’ll also have a schedule there so you can see which events are already being interpreted and which will require your request. Events that are labeled MAIN STAGE will already have interpreters scheduled. They’re popular events so interpreters are a foregone conclusion. XFINITY events do require a request even though they’re in the room adjacent to MAIN STAGE, so keep that in mind.

Come on down! It’s a blast and every year we see more and more Deaf and hard of hearing in the audience! We’re also doing our best to work with more Deaf Interpreters on our team of Hearing Interpreters. If you know a DI who loves movies, comic books, and pop culture please tell them to get in touch!

See you soon!
